In the beginning of 2008 Hilary and her record company, Hollywood records, had some different of opinions about her new album, which created a huge gap between her and the record company. The main reason was that Hollywood records promised that there would be a DVD tour of Dignity, Hilary’s new album, but after all they cancelled the whole tour and cancelled the production of some new singles.
It was obvious that Hilary wouldn’t go further with Hollywood records in 2009. Some rumours say that RCA records (also promoting Avril Lavigne and Christina Aguilera) will be her new record company.
If she will go with RCA records, it is possible to release her fifth album the same year.
